This lightweight walking aid, or cane as they say, doubles as a fishing rod and reel. It’s a spinning reel.  The length is adjustable for taller or shorter anglers. The reel features 13 ball-bearings to wind clean and smooth. It can be used in salt and fresh water. 
There’s a growing community of ice fisherman who have started using this combo, so it’s not just for summer. The aluminum rod features a soft grip for tossing bait and tackle.
